Each year, BCPS students come together to recognize both Red Ribbon and Safe Schools Weeks. This year, the Red Ribbon Week Theme was “Be Kind to Your Mind: Live Drug Free” and the Safe School’s Theme was “Light the Way”. Annually, our Department of Safe and Drug Free Schools hosts a district-wide competition for these weeks as well, inviting students to submit entries for posters, written essays, and even videos! On Monday, December 4th, the team held their recognition event, where we celebrated the district-level winners for each category.
