(Frankfort, Ky) -- The Kentucky Association of School Administrators (KASA) proudly installed Dr. Jesse Bacon, superintendent of Bullitt County Schools, as its new president during the association’s annual meeting and conference on July 26, 2024.
Dr. Bacon, an accomplished and visionary leader, has been a dedicated member of KASA since 2008. His extensive service to the association includes roles as president-elect, vice president, regional director, and a member of the government affairs team. With a deep commitment to advancing education in Kentucky, Dr. Bacon is poised to lead KASA into a new era of advocacy and innovation.
As president, Dr. Bacon will guide the board of directors in advocating for critical legislation aimed at sustaining the education profession. His leadership will focus on securing competitive salaries, benefits, and support systems for educators while ensuring the delivery of high-quality education to Kentucky’s 640,000 students.
In expressing her confidence in Dr. Bacon’s leadership, KASA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Rhonda Caldwell said, “Dr. Bacon’s unwavering commitment to education and his proven leadership make him the ideal person to steer KASA through the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. His vision aligns perfectly with our mission to ensure every student in Kentucky has access to the best possible education, supported by dedicated and well-resourced educators.”

These programs aim to recruit and prepare school leaders at all levels as effective and exemplary leaders.
