It's National School Counseling Week!
Congratulations to three of BCPS’s Family Resource and Youth Service Center Coordinators (FRYSC) who were selected as features in the state’s “FRYSC Impact Report Spotlight!” These three coordinators are incredibly dedicated to their work and have been impacting BCPS in so many ways. Congratulations to: -- Sherri Bishop, BES/FES -- Megan Hatter, MWMS/EMS -- Leigh Ann Lowery, OMES/CES The FRYSC Coordinators are a crucial part of BCPS in implementing programs at all of our schools, helping with student needs, and pointing families to services they may need. Across Kentucky, only 81 FRYSC Coordinators were chosen for this prestigious feature. These individuals are chosen by the state after reviewing the data and projects that every FRYSC Coordinator across the state inputs into a state-level database. “Ms. Hatter, Ms. Lowery, and Ms. Bishop are seasoned coordinators that have served Bullitt County for a long time,” says FRYSC District Supervisor Jackie Roth. “They deserve the recognition. They are definitely leaders among the FRYSC here in Bullitt County, and I am very proud of their work.” Congratulations to you three! BCPS is thankful for your dedication to our students and families.
