🇺🇸 An Unforgettable Veterans Day at Overdale Elementary! 🇺🇸
During Overdale’s annual Veterans Day program, students, families, and staff witnessed a powerful moment as Lance Corporal Dallas Farmer, U.S. Marines, returned from deployment to surprise his younger brother, Austin, a fifth-grader. The day was filled with moving tributes, including performances by the North Bullitt ROTC, North Bullitt Band, and Overdale’s 3rd and 4th graders, directed by music teacher, Ms. Stacey Oliver. This heartfelt reunion reminds us of the sacrifices military families make and the importance of community support.
