This post from Shana sums up what we want to achieve in our school and programs at the Bullitt County Area Technology Center.

Well, the time has come… it’s officially time for me to “retire” from being this year’s President for The Bullitt County Area Technology SkillsUSA Kentucky. Although I was only in SkillsUSA for one year, I have learned a lot about leadership, communication skills, and a lot about myself as a person. It has been a privilege to get to represent the Bullitt County Area Technology Center. All of the best people I’ll ever meet and by far the most supportive community I’ve ever had was here at the Bullitt County Area Technology Center, they pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me that sometimes to get where you wanna go in life you can’t just stand in one place. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them and they will always be a special part of my life. Being able to build our Chapter from near nothing to being able to go all the way to Atlanta Georgia for Nationals is amazing in just a couple of months! I enjoyed meeting so many amazing people and being able to help push other students out of their comfort zones to help push them into amazing leaders that will do amazing things for our school and community! So thank you to my Teachers and My Principal for shaping me into the person I am today. I can’t wait to come back and see how far our school goes! - Sincerely, your 2023 - 2024 SkillsUSA Bullitt County President.
