Attention Seniors & Senior Families,
Our Senior Signing Day will take place next week on Thursday, April 30th! This special event honors each of our Seniors who have committed to continuing their postsecondary education—whether at a college, university, trade school, or in the military.

To participate, each Senior must:
1) Complete this Google Form with their postsecondary plans and any scholarships they have received:
https://forms.gle/bYZ4NyyhN1x9UeKC9
2) Wear apparel (t-shirt, hat, etc.) that represents their next step—college, military, or training program—on Thursday, April 30th.
We will celebrate each senior individually as they sign their commitment and take a photo with the Cougar!

**This is a seniors-only event—created just for our graduates as a fun and memorable way to celebrate their accomplishments and future plans.**

Senior Families:
Please help us make this a memorable event by encouraging your Senior to complete the form thoroughly and accurately. The information submitted will also be used for Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, May 26th, especially for recognizing scholarship recipients.

We can’t wait to celebrate the Class of 2026 and their bright futures! #WeAreBC

Last week, art students from the Art 3 class met with Shepherdsville Parks and Recreation Director, Samantha Satterly, and EHI Consultant, Ryan Holmes, as part of an ongoing project to design and create a new park space on Buckman St. During this workshop, students worked collaboratively to plan and design park layouts and concepts that reflected their hopes and goals for the future community space. Mr. Holmes will be using this feedback to develop an initial conceptual site plan, which will include various landscape concepts such as planting areas, walking paths, gathering spaces, and park amenities. The next step is to conduct a presentation of design options in order to facilitate a discussion with community stakeholders and key project partners. Finally, Ms. Satterly and Mr. Holmes will integrate community and youth input to conduct an open-house style public meeting complete with renderings and visuals of the site concept.

By engaging in this project, students are proving their abilities to be Productive Collaborators, Community Contributors, Effective Communicators, and Innovative Problem Solvers. Great job Art 3 students! We are so proud of your work to better our community. #BuildTheLegacy #WeAreBC
