Congratulations to Sam Weddle (senior) and Kayleigh Holzknecht (sophomore) on their fantastic performances with the Kentucky Music Education Association All-State Bands. The KMEA All-State Bands feature the best student musicians in Kentucky. This past Saturday, the groups performed at the Kentucky Center for the Arts in Louisville.
This past weekend our Archery team was very successful! They brought home the FIRST AND THIRD Place trophy! They had the Top FIVE Girls AND the Top FIVE Boys! Their FIRST Place Boy (Owen Schneider)hit a TOP SCORE of 297!!! Congratulations!

This weekend the Bullitt East Chess Team placed third in the quad b regionals qualifying them to compete for the State title next month. Efforts were led by Barrett Armstrong who won first place in the individual competition scoring 4.5 out of 5. Congratulations!
The Bullitt East Speech and Debate Team competed in KHSSL Derby Regionals this weekend. Noxie Melton was Region runner-up in Storytelling. Krissy Scott placed as the Region Champion in Poetry!

Bullitt East has four girls representing BEHS in the State Swim meet this Saturday at 1:30 at the University of Louisville! Payton Jones and Ella Bischoff are BEHS students, Makenzie Lovett (BAMS) and Abbie Davis (MWMS) round the team that will compete in the 200 meter medley relay and 200 meter freestyle relay. Make sure to wish those girls Good Luck if you see them!

Bullitt East Girls have made it to the State level swim meet in their Relays for the Medley and the Freestyle. The girls names are Ella Bischoff, Makenzie Lovett, Payton Jones, and Abbie Davis. Makenzie also made it to state in her individual event , the 100 breaststroke. These are no small feats and we'd like to get these girls the recognition that they deserve!
