Recently, students from across our district showcased their passion for teaching and learning at the 2024 Educators Rising Kentucky State Conference. The event, held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, drew a record number of 771 high school students from 53 schools across 33 Kentucky school districts.

These achievements align with our district’s Core Value of being "Future Focused," as we emphasize growing our own teachers through the Teaching and Learning Pathways at each of our high schools. These pathways provide students with hands-on teaching experience and help them cultivate the skills needed to be successful educators.
"Participating in the Educators Rising Kentucky State Conference was an incredible opportunity for our students to showcase their passion for teaching and learning," said Dr. Adrienne Usher, BCPS Assistant Superintendent. "We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing them continue to excel in the field of education."
Educators Rising Kentucky is a career and technical student organization that provides young people with hands-on teaching experience, helping sustain student interest in the profession and preparing them for successful future careers in education.
