ATTENDANCE MATTERS

Nichols Knights Families,
We have had a very busy week of testing this week. This week our students completed their spring On-Demand Writing (ODW) assessment as well as their Predictive Assessment tests, formerly known as CASE. Teachers will be analyzing this information to make the most of the final weeks of the school year leading up to state testing in May.
On Friday we had two Bullitt Central students from Future Famers of America, come to read to the 4th graders during library time. It’s such a treat for our students when high school students come to visit and talk to them about all the wonderful opportunities that will be available to them when they enter high school.
And finally, The Nichols Roastery is open for business! This morning before school, the 5th-grade students, with the help of Mrs. Clark and Mrs. Kirk, opened their coffee shop. Their offerings included fresh coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks. The Pioneer News came to document the event, so be on the lookout for an article soon. The students took the project very seriously and did an amazing job. We are all very proud of them. Way to go, Nichols Knights!
