Nichols Knights Families,
Kentucky Summative Assessments are underway at Nichols! Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade students have been very focused and working hard this week. Testing will continue through May 18th. Keep up the good work, Nichols Knights! Thank you, Mrs. Clark, for being an outstanding building assessment coordinator!
This week was Teacher Appreciation Week! I want to give a big SHOUT OUT to the entire Nichols Staff! They do such an amazing job making Nichols a safe and happy place to come and learn each and every day. Thank you to everyone who sent in kind wishes and yummy treats! A special thank you to the BCP Library for the beautiful cookie cake and tray of delicious cookies. And another special thank you to our PTA! This year the PTA provided lunch for us today, and they bought each staff member a Nichols Knights ballcap. We are so appreciative to all of you for making this a great week!
And finally, congratulations to our 5th Grade students! They completed the DARE program and were awarded with a certificate and a DARE t-shirt at their Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday. Thank you, Mrs. Kirk and Deputy Harper for guiding them in this important work.
