ATTENDANCE MATTERS
09/01/2023
Nichols Knights Families,
We have finished our first round of iReading testing. We are using the data to make instructional decisions for all of our students.
The Student handbook was shared on Class Dojo, can be found on the Nichols website, and is linked here. Each week at the beginning of the year, I will share a couple of tidbits from the Student handbook that answer questions we have been getting phone calls about.
This week’s tidbit is about birthdays:
INVITATIONS
If invitations are being sent home through the school, every person in the class must be invited.
TREATS
Birthday treats sent to school must be store-bought, individually wrapped or separated (cookies, cupcakes, donuts, Little Debbies). Please do not send items that must be cut or they will be sent back home with your student. 🙁
Upcoming dates:
9/4 - Labor Day holiday - no school
9/5 - Bullitt Day - teacher work day - no school
9/25 - Fall Pictures
10/2 - 10/6 - Fall Break
11/4 - Fall Festival 2:00 - 6:00
It’s hard to believe that Labor Day is already here! I hope you have time to relax and unwind your family and friends and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Have a wonderful weekend !
