Nichols Knights Families,
Our first full week of school was a huge success! The teachers and students have all gotten back into the daily routine of school. We focused on safety this week practicing all of the required safety drills. We practiced evacuating the bus and evacuating the building. We also practiced our lockdown drill, earthquake drill, and severe weather/tornado drill. The students took it very seriously and did a great job.
We had our first SBDM meeting this week. We have SBDM meetings in-person, on the second or third Tuesday of every month from 5:30 - 6:30. You are welcome to come and observe if you are interested.
We will have our first PTA meeting next week on August 25th. PTA meetings this year will be the last Thursday of each month from 6:00 - 7:00. Their primary function is to raise funds to support Nichols. You are welcome to come to PTA meetings as well.

9/5 - No School - Labor Day
