Nichols Knights Families,
Our second full week of school was a huge success! The teachers and students have all gotten back into the daily routine of school. Unfortunately, we have several cases of COVID. If your child’s class ever has 3 or more active cases of COVID at a time, you will receive a letter from the nursing staff to let you know. So far, we have not had 3 cases at one time in any classroom.
We had our first PTA meeting on August 25th. PTA meetings this year will be the last Thursday of each month from 6:00 - 7:00. Their primary function is to raise funds to support Nichols. You are always invited and welcome to come to PTA meetings. We set some dates for PTA events this year.
BCPS has a new district website this year, and every school also has a new website. There is a lot of great information and it’s easy to find. My favorite feature is the Event Calendar. As events are planned and scheduled, we add them to the Events calendar.

8/31 - First day of preschool
9/5 - No School - Labor Day
