ATTENDANCE MATTERS

Nichols Knights Families,
Thanks for another great week!
The School Store fundraiser forms have still been coming in this week. Thank you for your support!
Our Archery Team competed in a tournament last week at Bullitt Lick and they have another tournament tomorrow at 11:00am at North Bullitt. Good luck, Archers!
We had the rest of our January drills today. We completed the following drills: Tornado, Fire, Earthquake, and Lockdown. For the most part, students did a good job, but they did have to be reminded several times that drills need to be done in silence and taken seriously. We want everyone to feel prepared in the event of a true emergency.

We will have a Safe Schools Audit in mid March. When the audit team visits they will be asking for input from teachers, staff, bus drivers, parents and students. I will share more details when the tentative date of March 14th is confirmed. If you’d like to participate, please let me know.
BCPS has a new district website this year, and every school also has a new website. There is a lot of great information and it’s easy to find. My favorite feature is the Events Calendar. As events are planned and scheduled, we add them to the Events calendar. You will also find my Nichols News articles posted each week in the "News" section of the Nichols Website. Please visit the Nichols Website and keep up with Class Dojo to stay informed.
Upcoming dates:
02/02 - PTA meeting 6:00 (The 2/26 meeting was rescheduled.)
02/07 - SBDM Meeting 5:30
Have a wonderful weekend!!
