Archery Tournaments, students in skates, Librarian's in skates, STLP, oh my! (Photo set 1/4)

We would like to wish our Archery Team good luck on their tournament at North Bullitt High School! If you would like to come out and support our team, the tournament is at 11am tomorrow!

We want to personally thank all the families who have already participated in our SchoolStore fundraiser! So far, over $800 has been raised!
If your family has not participated, there's still time!
This safe and easy fundraiser is 100% online so there is no face-to-face selling, collecting money, or delivering products. Your child will receive a prize just for participating, and more prizes will be awarded when goals are reached. Our SchoolStore website is also live for a whole year! This means that Nichols can earn money all year long from the Family Bookstore, the national online merchants and the donated Caring For Classrooms gift cards.
If you would still like to participate, please go to https://www.schoolstore.net/sid.t?0000180544
Thank you for your support!

Reminder! No school today, Monday, 1/16/23.
Today, remember to always push forward. In the words on Martin Luther King Jr, "If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward."

Our students and teachers have been hard at work! We'd like to take a moment to shout out our 5th grade STLP team for helping teach new technology to the rest of the school. Mrs. Kirk's 5th graders also spent time relaxing and reading! What a week!

More photos from our Celebration and House party time!

Yesterday was our monthly Celebration where we gather and celebrate all the things that we accomplished in December! Grace, our newest 1st grader, got sorted into House Darroch! Mrs. Ferrell's 4th grade won the attendance trophy and Mrs. Tomes' 3rd grade won the Class Dojo Positivity award!
Afterwards, we broke into houses to have some fun! Agnew and McClellan hashed it out in a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Chicken! Darroch made kindness cards for their friends, and Cameron played games to build bonds between the different grades!

Here's a little Monday Fun! Did you know? The second Monday of January is National Clean Off Your Desk Day! It's always a good idea to start a new year with a fresh workspace. Say goodbye to junk, organize, declutter, and destress. (That includes your computer desktop, too!)

We are so proud of our Nichols Knights Archers! They represented NES at their first tournament this past weekend. Of course, Friday afternoon, we had to send them off with some good luck and positive vibes!

Another short one, but we had a fabulous week back after Winter Break! NES Weekly Attendance 1/4-1/6.
