Bullitt County Public Schools is proud to recognize our Assistant Superintendent, Dr. Adrienne Usher, for being selected as a member of the distinguished Google GSV Education Innovation Fellowship—a national honor that celebrates bold, visionary leaders working to reimagine education.
The Google GSV Fellowship brings together a select group of educational changemakers from across the country who are shaping the future of learning through innovation and impact at scale. As part of this fellowship, Dr. Usher conducted an action research project that explores how artificial intelligence can support school and district leaders in their continuous improvement efforts. Specifically, she is leveraging AI to enhance the development and analysis of Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles—empowering leaders to make data-informed decisions more efficiently and effectively.
“Integrating AI into our continuous improvement work allows us to streamline reflection, identify trends, and deepen our learning as a system,” said Dr. Usher. “It’s about using cutting-edge tools to support the human work of leadership and learning.”
This innovative project was one of the highlights of her presentation at the renowned ASU+GSV Summit, held in San Diego, California. The ASU+GSV Summit is a premier global event that connects the most influential voices in education, technology, and the future of work. During her session, Dr. Usher shared insights from her research and from our district’s broader commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
“Being part of the Google GSV Fellowship has been an inspiring and energizing experience,” Dr. Usher added. “It’s an honor to represent our district on a national stage and collaborate with leaders who are deeply passionate about transforming education for every learner.”
Please join us in celebrating this exceptional achievement and in thanking Dr. Usher for her continued leadership, dedication, and vision on behalf of our students, families, and staff.
