Ready for some Summer Fun? Plan to attend Kids Fest on June 15th!
We are excited to share details about our FREE Summer Learning Academy provided by Waterford.org, designed to boost school readiness for any incoming Kindergarten student (not current). Here’s what you need to know:
Eligibility: Open to all incoming Kindergarten students. Completely FREE!!!
Access: Participants will have access to engaging lessons in reading, math, and science. Two parent events will be sponsored this summer for any family to attend.
Subjects/Skills: Reading, Math, and Science (15 min/day for reading and math)
Program Dates: Begins June 3rd and runs until school resumes in August.
Registration: Sign up by scanning the QR code provided on the attached flyer
Waterford has partnered with BCPS to provide mentors/coaches to support student growth and celebrate accomplishments throughout the summer.
Families, SES will have a special called SBDM meeting on Friday, May 31st at 11:00 AM in lue of the normal June meeting. The agenda for the meeting can be found the SES school website in the SBDM tab.
Shepherdsville Elementary FRC will be co-hosting a Transition to School Camp (Kindergarten Camp) for Shepherdsville Elementary students that will be starting K in August 2024. Please complete this camp registration form. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE FULLY REGISTERED FOR KINDERGARTEN TO ATTEND.

All students who have submitted their annual student update will be placed in a drawing for a prize on Friday morning! If you have not completed this for your student please do so as soon as possible. If you need assistance, please call 502-869-7000.
LAST CALL to those families who have not yet completed their 2024=25 online registration. Shepherdsville Elem hasn't broken our 80% registered goal but we are so close!!! Please login and submit your OLR today. If you are having trouble logging in or need help with your password, please message dina.gribbins@bullitt.kyschools.us. A huge SHOUT OUT to all the families who have been so good to help us get this far (68.15%)!

Families, there was a miscommunication about the dates for the yearbook pick up. Please see the updated post on Facebook or below for current information. Apologies for any confusion.
Dear families, unfortunately yearbooks will not be delivered before school is out. For those that ordered yearbooks, they can be picked up at school May 28or May 29 between 9 and noon, or on May 30 between 4-7pm. There are no extra copies of yearbooks for sale.
