Good evening! We are so excited to announce something new this year for our students! Students can be nominated by staff members to receive a Super Stingray recognition. Students will receive this award by showing grit, showing growth/excellence, or seeking greatness! Once a student receives this recognition the student will join either Mr. Baragary or Mrs. Crumbacker to call home and celebrate the recognition with a family member, receive a small treat, and be recognized on the morning announcements. Below you will find our first recipient of the Super Stingray Award! Please be on the lookout for more Super Stingrays this week!

This week is National Arts in Education Week! We love our Special Area (Related Arts) staff and the passion for school they help inspire! You all do an amazing job!

September is Attendance Awareness Month! It's so important for your child to attend school daily for their learning and growth. Also, we LOVE seeing them each day!

Families, as the district has transitioned to the new Rooms communication system we've encountered a few glitches and have worked with staff to best support your student. To help encourage positive behavior we are going to start using an in-house point system that will be monitored by staff. If you would like to know how your student is progressing you can still contact your student's teacher for more information. Thank you for your help and patience as we work to best serve you and your student!

This week is also National Substitute Appreciation Week. We would not have been able to start this school year without all the wonderful substitutes who have helped us out, especially filling roles in 5th grade! Our Admin and members of district staff have even stepped up to help make sure our school days run smoothly and our students are learning. We have some really amazing substitutes in our district! Thank you ALL for all that your do!

This week is National Bookkeeper Week! If you see Mrs. Rhonda Peercy, make sure you tell her thank you for all she does!

PTO Snack Cart is TOMORROW Sept. 1, 2023!
Students can choose from 4 options, each costs $1. Students can spend up to $3.

We need volunteers to help staff our Book Fair and monitor the cafeteria during Grandparents Week. If you have been approved to volunteer this year, and can help out in any way, please contact Donna English at 869-7000 or donna.english@bullitt.kyschools.us
If you would like to volunteer in the future, please come in to the office and complete a background check. You can message Donna English with any questions.
