Wade and Makenzie were amazing helpers today. The earned "can crushing" with Mrs. Adams by spending their points. They could balance, crush, and even did some crushing with their feet. We had a fun time getting the job done! So Your Can Really Does Count! We are putting a big dent in filling up this bin. Our first pick up is scheduled for Nov. 11th. We will keep you posted!!

As we approach Veteran's Day we will be sharing some letters written by our 2nd grade students.
Please take a moment to take a look at their hard work!

Friday was an amazing day at MWES and these Braves made it even better. Jackie and Caroline were both "caught" following the expectations on how to enter and exit a Pow-Wow. They earned a coin to pick a book from the book vending machine. They should feel so proud for making good choices!!

Please help support our school in collaboration with Tri-Arrows Aluminum to recycle 150k aluminum cans. You can bring your donations to the Hall-o-Treats and at the Tri-Arrows Aluminum table there will be blue recycling bins for all aluminum cans brought in. Our third grade team is working hard to promote recycling and wanting to reach their first benchmark for a reward. One can or a bag of cans are accepted because YOUR CAN COUNTS!! Please let everyone you know planning to attend this event to bring their cans too.

Our recycling efforts were given some extra help from these awesome can crushing kiddos. Thanks to 3rd grade friends; Brantley, Rowan and Raelynn for spending their points to smash the cans so we can have more room in the bin. Thanks to all those who have donated cans to be crushed. Keep them coming in!

It has been a great first week for recycling aluminum cans. Our third graders have been busy keeping the inside bins empty. They appreciate all those who have collected and donated cans. They encourage everyone to ask family and friends to save their cans to help them reach their goal of 150k!!

Great way to end the week, playing the switch with James for Adventures with Adams. Love that our students are earning those points and want to spend time with me!! Our students are the best!!

Please plan ahead - bus 1973 will NOT run in the AFTERNOON on Friday, 10/4.

Another awesome friend earned points and bought Adventures with Adams. Aubrey chose drawing a hamster that she named Boomer. She has quite an artistic talent.

Mrs. Adams had the privilege of getting to spend Adventures with Adams playing games with these 2 sweet girls. Harlow and Carly earned points to buy this opportunity. Fun times!
