Dear Mount Washington Community,
I am elated to join Mount Washington Elementary as the new District Instructional Coach.
In this role I will be partnering with the staff and leaders for the continued growth and success of
our students to be lifelong learners. I am beginning my 23rd year in education. I taught five years
at Overdale Elementary in primary and seventeen years at Shepherdsville Elementary as a
reading interventionist. As I begin my new journey as a Brave, I will work collaboratively with all stakeholders
grounded in the mission and vision of Mount Washington Elementary. Every Child, Every Day!

Dear MWES Community,
It is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the new Assistant Principal of MWES. I am truly honored to accept this new role. My first welcome letter was written fifteen years ago when I introduced myself as a 2nd grade teacher new to MWES. Seven years later I was introduced to be the District Instructional Coach that would support the work of the teachers and needs of this school. And now given this opportunity I intend to continue to dedicate myself to being a part of the incredible Braves team that has always been focused on students' success and producing lifelong learners. I know I am joining a strong school culture synonymous with excellence, dedication, and collaboration. It is extremely important to me to work collaboratively with each of you to build a positive relationship that will foster the MWES mission and expectations that give our students the best opportunities. I am excited about the possibilities for the 2022-2023 year and proud to be a part of the work that will enhance this amazing school community. Every Child, Every Day!
