Reminder to all visitors: For the safety of our students, when you visit LJES and ring the front bell, we will be asking the purpose of your visit and if you have your ID with you. We know this may be frustrating if you are a frequent visitor or are known to our staff, but it is a safety precaution we must adhere to for all visitors. Thank you for understanding.

Congratulations Bulldogs!

Huge shout out to the PTA for providing lunch for staff today. We failed to get a picture because the smells were pulling us in! The street tacos and desserts were perfect! Thank you!

It was a goodie filled day! Thanks to Amanda Jones and family for breakfast, the Foushee's for lunch, Cecilia Tractor for dessert, and a super soft blanket from administration.

We are so proud of our LJ Show Dogs!! The songs were inspired by the monthly social and emotional skills our counselor, Mrs. Willis and our teachers taught us: leadership, empathy, independence, courage and integrity.

It's National School Nurse Day! We are so thankful for Nurse Amanda and the care she shows students at LJ. She stays very busy throughout the day tending to diabetic students, checking in on students with seizures, dispensing medication, and taking care of band aids, lost teeth, upset tummies, and a long list of other complaints. She does it all with a constant smile and reassuring voice for students. Thank you, Amanda!

Thank you to A Plus Printing for surprising us with breakfast to kick off the week!

Shout out to Journey Christian Church for providing breakfast for our staff today. Delicious! Thank you!

Friday was School Lunch Hero Day but we weren't in school. We appreciate our lunch heroes every day for the way they care for our students. Thank you, Debbie, Katrina, Libby, Suzy, and Joyce (not pictured).

Thank you to the Turnaround Center for providing lunch for our staff today! What a great treat!

We love when students want to show off their growth! McGregor has been working really hard on his reading and chose to read to Mr. Mullins to celebrate his growth. We are so proud of him!
